Formerly part of Japan Post and known as Toll Global Express, the company provides express parcel, freight delivery, and contract logistics services to thousands of customers, serving over 36,000 businesses and employing more than 8,000 people.
Allegro acquired the business in September 2021 as a corporate carveout, bringing on Christine Holgate as CEO to lead a significant transformation. Backed by Allegro’s investment and operating support, the business is undergoing a bold reset – focused on performance, people, and long-term growth.
Team Global Express was the sixth investment in Allegro Fund III.
